"What's on your mind?"

I opened my fb page today and I discovered that statement in my status box.

It's always been there but I never really paid attention to it.

So, since I have been asked to share what's on my mind then I will let it out.

What's on my mind ?

How come Bruce/Kate Jenner is celebrated and Caster Samenya is vilified ?

How come google only returns white people when I search for men in google images, are black men not men as well ?

How come our leaders can't provide us with electricity and yet still government officials have Electricity 24/7.

How do babies feel when they get sick , can they handle the pain?

Still wanna know whats on my mind ?

How come the first black president of the US ,who happens to be married to a woman will put His Signature behind a law that allows a man to marry a man and a woman another woman.

How come Steve Jobs is dead and Vladmir Puttin is still alive ?

I dont hate Putin but lets face it between what Puttin is doing in Eastern Ukraine and What Steve Jobs did with Apple I think life hasnt been fair to us with Mr. Jobs.

How come Pastors are being jailed in the US for refusing the Bless gay couples ?

How come a bakery was sued over $ 100,000 for refusing to bake for a gay wedding ?

Why Dr. Myles Munroe died ?

Why Did Dr Myles have to die such a tragic death?

How come my mother`s head injury which was caused by dumsor is costing us GHC. 10,000.00 to operate and ECG doesn't seem to care.

Why does Rita Nana Adwoa Arthur keep changing her hairstyle? Doesn't she get tired?

What do the ladies at the Nyamekye branch of our church do with the photos they take EVERY sunday ?

Why are weddings sooo expensive?

Does the president listen to the radio and how does he feel?

How do his Children feel about all the "wonderful things" Ghanaians says about their dad?

Has the first family ever slept in the dark due to Dumsor before ?

What was the second lady thinking when she said all those things to the poor headmistress who only asked for chalk?

Will it rain on my wedding day?

Why has my samsung s2 suddenly stopped working?

How are the guys at Circle able to sell someone a piece of soap in place of a smart phone ?

We are in the seventh month of the year, have I made the most of ALL the opportunities God brought my way?

Will mother's surgery go on smoothly?

How is father handling mother's state ?

Am I a good son, brother, pastor, friend, fiance etc ?

Are there people who don't like me? Why don't they like ?

What killed my former propreitor Mr Frank Lamptey ?

How come I have been studying French since Primary 3 and yet still I cant speak French , am I to be blamed or my french teachers are just not good(I prefer the latter)?

Why do I have more chargers than Phones, where are the phones the charges came with??

What's on my mind ?

What if Obama or Puttin reads this post and they send the CIA or KGB after me ?

God forbid if they decided to interrogate me Here in Ghana! Tweaaa I prefer US or Russia!!!

Will they torture me ?

5 Life Lessons from FIFA 2013

Life Lessons From Playing FIFA 2013

Over the past 1 month I have been playing EA sports FIFA 13 . Its been a very interesting experience. However after playing for almost a whole month , I finally won first match as at amateur level just last week. (Congratulations to me ...lol !!!).
But in playing this games that attempts to mimic a real life event I have learnt a few lessons about life Life from Playing FIFA 2013.

LESSON # 1 : TIME IS EVERYTHING 

As soon as the referee blows His whistle the time begins to tick and it does not stop till the game ends. You can use the time to win , draw or loose that is your choice. In Life we can decide whether we will be winners,losers or average it ALL DEPENDS ON HOW WE USE OUR TIME.

LESSON # 2 : PRACTICE MAKES MAN PERFECT 

I realized that the more I practiced on shooting , scoring and defending , the better I became at it . I am not a pro yet but I have really improved my shooting , defending and scoring skills. Instead of complaining about how impossible or difficult something is , why don't you take sometime off to do some practice .

LESSON # 3 : YOU CAN ALWAYS RESTART WHEN YOU LOOSE 

TRY AGAIN IF YOU FAIL ! Sometimes when life presents us with failures we must learn to "RESTART THE MATCH". I have had to play several rematches before I won my first game. Anytime we fail at anything we must give ourselves the chance to restart. It is a better option than quitting.

LESSON # 4 : LIFE DOES NOT ALWAYS PRESENT US WITH EASY CHALLENGES

One area where F.I.F.A 2013 differs a lot in real life is that depending on which mode you are in ,  you get to choose any team you want to play . So you can choose a weaker team as your opponent , if you want to easily win. Life is different nobody gets choose the challenges He faces , they come from no where and we deal with them , no one plans to get divorced , or go bankrupt , or sick or fail at something it just happens. The key to success in life is not in wishing that you don't get big challenges or opposition ,  rather we must all make sure that we prepare ourselves and depend on strength from God to deal with any challenge we face .

LESSON # 5: NEVER TRY FLEXING YOUR MUSCLES AGAINST A PRO , EVEN IF HE IS YOUR JUNIOR BROTHER !!!!!
After winning my first game in FIFA 2013 , I got over confident and dared my youngest brother Felix who is a pro FIFA 13 player to a game. After all I am more than 10 years older than Him.
The results was disastrous. I lost 9-0 !!!!! ....lol

Solutions from the Bible that could have saved Nokia

 Ephesians 5: 15-16 
Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

Two days ago I heard that Microsoft had written down $ 7.6 billion in its Nokia business. As I reflected on the news and on how Nokia had become so unprofitable , I  began analyzing the whole Nokia saga. 
Ten years ago Nokia was worth over $ 200 billion , Everyone's dream phone was a Nokia . I remember the famous Nokia 3310 we all adored and craved for ,very strong , robust and guaranteed to last.  Then came other stronger and advanced models like 6600 series , and lately Asha , C 1-3 , and very late version Like the Nokia X and the Lumia.

All these were very wonderful phones that met everyone dreams and expectation. I remember carrying my Nokia with so much pride.

So what really went wrong ? How could a company so powerful and strong capitulate into such irrelevance . From a staggering worth of over $200 billion , Microsoft purchased Nokia 2 years ago for a give away price of a mere $ 7.6 billion dollars.

Nokia's problem to me is in encapsulated int Ephesians 5 :16 ... making the most of every opportunity. May be if the executives at Nokia had read this scripture they would have known that their opportunity clock was ticking and they had to act fast.

Nokia earliest Dual Sim the X1

First was their delay in making dual sim phones. Nokia had the technology and the market and the means to make dual sim phones. Everybody especially those of us in Africa and Asia had to appreciate dual sim phones. It had become the way of life now ,  and we all eagerly awaited Nokia dual sim phones that never came till Hauwei , Samsung , LG and other Asian manufactures had stolen our loyalty from Nokia with these phones that just gave us the ability to use two networks on one phone.

After years of waiting Nokia finally released it first dual sim phone the X series .Which quickly caught the market attention. But as would become very typical of Nokia ,they did not adapt the Dual sim technology for most of its High End Phones. Whiles its competitors just went ahead manufacturing everything Dual sim. By the time they decided to embrace the Dual Sim technology , it had lost a significant market to people who wanted high end dual sim phones and had to turn to other manufacturers for a solution.
Today almost All Nokia phones are Dual sim , a decision they should have taken long ago. Why did they wait so long ? I guess its because they did not read Ephesians 5:16.

The decision to manufacture touch screen phones also had Nokia dragging again. That`s where I believe Samsung  stole another Significant portion of Nokia market. People  had come to appreciate these new affordable phones from Samsung that did not have any Keypad , just one giant screen and everybody wanted one. Once again Nokia ignored Ephesians 5:16. And when it finally released one it was for very low end range or very high end range like N950. Today almost every Nokia is fully touch screen.



Android presented another opportunity for Nokia to relaunch it self . But As had become usual of Nokia it delayed in entering the Android market. Instead it bet on its proprietary Symbian platform against the open source Android platform ,which was fast gaining grounds. Once again we Nokia loyalist waited many years for Nokia to release something for the Android platform and watched in horror as Samsung , LG , Hauwei and other brands decimated the Nokia Market  with their Android handsets. Finally after Samsung had taken over the market with its android based Galaxy , Nokia released the Nokia X to our excitement only to discontinue it after just one release.

The story of Nokia reminds me of the rich neighbor who is now leaving on the streets because He has lost everything due to a bad investment.

However a closer look will tell you that Nokia just failed to take its opportunities.  It always moved too late until it just become irrelevant and unneeded.

The bible teaches us to make the most of every opportunity because the days are evil. Time is not on our side, every time you fail to act will be accounted for and may have future consequences.

Today we all have the opportunity to make Christ the Lord of our Lives if we don`t , we may end up like Nokia , too late in deciding and too late to be saved.

Make the most of this opportunity to make Jesus the Lord of your life .
