Initially it was just a simple act of affection
Affection that got your attention

So the Attention became an infatuation
Infatuation that led to an uncontrollable obsession
Is it love? You asked
It is NOTHING! You answered
Then the WhatsApp started
The restraining voice of the Holy Spirit was still loud
But you said it was NOTHING.
And you kept expecting that act of affection
That led to your attention that became an infatuation.
Infatuation that led to an uncontrollable obsession
So you kept WhatsApping
The conversations got longer
It became more personal
You started depending on it
The restraining voice of the Holy Spirit was still loud
But you said it was NOTHING!
The whatsapping began the day
And ended the night
In between was the “just checking on you “calls
The loud restraining voice of the Holy Spirit was getting faint
But you said it was NOTHING!
And then it was the “Date” that wasn’t a “date”
But just a meeting for a discussion.
The loud restraining voice of the Holy Spirit was getting fainter
But you said it was NOTHING!
It’s just a discussion
But the “Discussion” was rarely mentioned in your discussion.
Infatuation had become an uncontrollable obsession
Then the short hugs started, it continued and got longer.
The grips got firmer, the contact longer
The loud restraining voice of the Holy Spirit was getting fainter
But you said it was NOTHING!
Then the DELETE ON READ messages started!
The hugs became pecks that became a kiss that turned into KISSES
The loud restraining voice of the Holy Spirit was now getting your attention!
So you tried to end it all.
You stopped calling, swept your phone clean and kept your distance.
Out of sight was supposed to be out of mind
But what was nothing had become something!
Something that had become a habit
A habit that had become an addiction
An addiction that was becoming a sweet taboo
Sin was knocking at your door!
The restraining voice had become faint
So you gave in, the clothes went off and the temple was defiled
You cheated!
You cheated on her, who then cheated on him.
You cheated on the owner of the temple you defiled
You cheated on the other one with whom the two was to become one.
What was nothing had become something!
Something that had become a habit
A habit that had become an addiction
An addiction that has defiled the temple.
All because you said IT WAS NOTHING!
BUT There is SOMETHING called GRACE!
Sweep your temple clean!
Break the unequal yoke!
And Isaiah says the unrighteous will not defile your temples anymore.
There is SOMETHING called GRACE!
By it we receive Forgiveness
And through Forgiveness we can hear our heavenly father say
IT WAS NOTHING!
